Yes. Normally, I listen to so much music, I can listen to the 30 previews [wherever mp3s of your choice are sold] and decide if it’s worth it. But that just wasn’t cutting it for me.
I was asking because Google Play has their album: Hurry Up We’re Dreaming, on sale for $3.99. And for a band that I’ve heard good things about, but could not come up with anything in my head that I might’ve heard from them - I thought I’d investigate.
After listening to a few songs I can tell they’re not totally my thing - but there’s a few bands like that, where I can take them or leave them, but there’s a few songs I’ve listened to so far that I do really like. Plus, there’s that sort of Peter Gabriel/Sting/80s synth-pop sound that seems popular right now and that is totally in my music wheelhouse. So. There’s that. I think it might be worth it to grab… 22 songs? for $4. Yeah.

Okay, they kinda remind me of the movies Legend and Labyrinth and The Neverending Story.
One of the descriptions for them I saw included something about The Neverending Story. And I’m like, but I LOVE that movie. Maybe I need to listen to more than 30 second previews. That sounds like a lot of work for a band I’m so confused about. I shall endeavor to investigate further! To the Tumblr tags!

The Editor concurs. Popularity is not what this about. It’s about how people, any people interact with their fandom of choice.
*hugs* Doesn’t help at all that I kept thinking today was Friday already. Or that this weekend has just been like non-stop drama. I’m just exhausted.

Due to unexpected hospital and tuition bills, money’s tight the rest of the month (until payday at the “day” job). Trying to sell the old stock in my Etsy shop to make a little cash to pay for fuel to drive so I can make it to work the rest of the month. I’m going to start reblogging a few of the posts in my art tumblr here in hopes of getting my work out there more.
I can take commissions now, as long as they are small commissions. Anything big will have to wait until this quarter of classes is over.
